Are we sure that console version is actually what they're teasing us with??? The breakable wall is still there, and as someone had pointed out, to do such a tease for people that are not interested in consoles would be useless and stupid. And the CD Projekt guys are not stupid. Best proof is that instead of doing a simple portage from PC to console, they're going to improve the original game, in order to give to their new customers the best they can do. They did it for the PC, they're doing it for the consoles, there is no favoritism. They use new tools that were not likely ready when the Enhanced Edition came out. They create a new combat system probably more fitted to the consoles, or that is intended for PC too, but that can't be implemented through a patch.


Yeah, that's why I'm still not convinced that the hunt is about the console version. It would most likely be about They or a new PC game.

If CDPR pull a BethSoft a la Oblivion and Fallout 3, we'll be okay -- since I thought both of those turned out very well on the PC.
If CDPR pull a Ion Storm a la Deus Ex: Invisible War, then BLEH -- we PC gamers won't be so well off.

For every Bioware company that starts out as a PC-only company and then eventually winds up making console RPG's to later port them to the PC, there probably will be some other great upcoming PC game only company that will wind up...doing the same thing -- they'll start out doing PC-only games only to later do console games first with a PC port later. It's a cycle.

Maybe Drakensang's makers will be next to follow suit...Who the hell knows... *Shrugs*


PC and console exclusivity is pretty much...DEAD -- especially since most of the very good PC games wind up on the X-360 and vice versa, in some shape or form.

I'd have no problem w/ them upgrading the PC version of Witcher EE to have some of the features the console version will have -- such as PC version getting X360 control-pad support, the new engine, and new graphics effects. Not like the PC version needs that extra control pad support, but what the hell, why not -- PC version might as well now, since that's how it'll play on the consoles.

Yeah, though, we already know a little bit about They...

I really hope they'll do that via patches, if not I think many players gonna be pissed.

Hi everyone! We have not made any official announcements yet... what I can say is that RED is working on three unannounced games.

And actually I'm pretty sure remembering an interview (or maybe on the blog :hmmm:) when CDProjekt said they have five project on-going !
So, there is still a lot of surprise awaiting us!  :beer:

CD Projekt bought a majority stake in Metropolis and they're in the building as of a few months ago. All part of one big happy family.

Ahhh, so they did get moved in with you guys. Interesting.

So, I bet we will be seeing both Metropolis logo and CD Projekt logo on the gamebox for They! :P
